Music and its types are considered one of the most influential human arts in all ages. Music in Iran has a high place among the spiritual culture of Iranians for a long time. Among the various styles of music, a style called "undergrounded music" has attracted a wide range of Iranian audiences, mainly young and adolescent, after two decades. However, after the passage of time, undergrounded music showed its negative effects, including the representation of deviance and delinquency. The current research, using the technique of thematic analysis, seeks to analyze the existence of various social deviations in this style of music. For this purpose, the number of 15 popular pieces of 5 popular undergrounded singers in the 80s and 90s was analyzed according to the singers of the works and in terms of the presence of themes promoting social deviations. The results of the research showed that this style of music is very harmful in its content, because 18 deviant themes were extracted from these pieces of music. Among them themes such as promoting the use of drugs, promoting the naturalization of alcoholic beverages, encouraging lawlessness and promoting verbal and physical violence were more frequent than other themes. Based on this, it can be concluded that the expansion of the audience's attention to some works of this style of music can lead to adverse consequences for the audience and the society.
