The present age is called the age of knowledge (post communication and technology). Due to the importance of the subject, a field called the Sociology of Knowledge has been developed. Today, the subject of knowledge and the need to address cognitive skills is one of the necessities of social management in our society. Methodology: The aim of this research is to evaluate the effect of students' religiosity on their cognitive skills with emphasis on the mediating effect of knowledge sharing variable. The research is based on the positivism philosophy and with a deductive approach. The research strategy is a descriptive-survey type and the statistical population of the research is (9517) the secondary school students of Tabriz education-district one, of which (1163) students are selected as the sample by using Cochran's formula. The research is a mono-quantitative method. A standard questionnaire has been used to collect the data. Time horizon of the research is cross-sectional.
Findings: The research findings show that the dependent variable (cognitive skills of students) is more affected by the variable of knowledge sharing compared to the variable of religiosity in terms of direct, indirect and total independent variables.
Conclusion: The results showed that knowledge sharing is a very important factor on empowering social agents and at the top of that, students, which can have a significant effect in improving cognitive skills with the influence of variables such as religiosity.
