System-building refers to identification and designing of major and regulating patterns involved in a communication network. The nature of this subject is such that a single discipline cannot be assigned to deal with it, rather it should be considered as a transdisciplinary subject that can be materialized by interdisciplinary merger of various disciplines. Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr is among thinkers who have proposed the issue of system-building and exploration of schemes of human society and dealt with them through the discipline of jurisprudence. This paper is an attempt to study the anthropological bases that affect system-building jurisprudential components with emphasis on the viewpoints of Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr to shed light on the impact of disciplines, such as theology and philosophy, on the final analysis of the discipline of jurisprudence about subjects, such as status of people in the government and their relationship with the one in authority [leader]. This is an innovative research because based on al-Sadr’s new reading of religious anthropology, it is possible to offer a reading of jurisprudential system-building founded on the anthropological principles and the conventional of the Sharia. This process would streamline the set of philosophical, theological and jurisprudential teachings in a single trajectory and the anthropological approach derived from it would leave independent impacts on the evolution of the theoretical logic of jurisprudential system-building.
